State Forest Management Centre

State Forest Management Centre (Estonian: Riigimetsa Majandamise Keskus, abbreviated RMK) is Estonian state institution which focuses mainly on forest management in Estonia, but also land management, nature conservation.[1]

RMK was established in 1999.

As of 2019, RMK annual profit was 43.2 million euros and therefore RMK belongs to TOP 10 companies in Estonia.[2]

Departments

RMK is divided into four departments:

  • Forest management department
    • Forest survey management division
  • Seed and plant management department
  • Timber marketing department
  • Nature management department.[3]
