It was shifted to its present location in 1892. Since then, the school has educated thousands of young men within the walls of its Quadrangle which include kings, diplomats, princes, ministers, scientists, writers, actors, industrialists and influencers. Publications and Media

One of the best day - boarding [2]schools in India, North Point ranked 2nd [3]among boarding schools in West Bengal and 10th in India according to the Education-World[4]

School System

The school is divided into four divisions: Primary Division Classes 3 to 5, Lower Division Classes 6 to 8, Upper Division Classes 9 and 10, Senior Division Classes 11 and 12.

The Primary and Lower divisions have 4 house captains each while the Upper and Senior divisions have 8 Prefects and 8 Beadles respectively. These student appointments are made every year based on house and leadership abilities.

Unsupervised Examinations

In 2006, the school, under the initiative of Fr. Kinley(then Rector), successfully conducted the Class XII Board examinations uninvigilated. This was the first of many batches that would take up the challenge over the years. It was, according to the school, a test of honesty.
