Spatalistis

Spatalistis is a genus of moths belonging to the subfamily Tortricinae of the family Tortricidae.[1]

The original description of this genus by Edward Meyrick is: The antennae in the male are simple. Palpi moderately long, porrected, second joint rough-scaled above and beneath. Forewings with tufts of scales on surface, in the male sometimes with expansible brush of hairs from towards costa anteriorly, but without membranous fold; 3 and 4 stalked, 7 to termen. Hindwings with 3 and 4 stalked, 5 approximated, 6 and 7 closely approximated towards base.[2]
