Social Democratic Labour Party of Lithuania

The Social Democratic Labour Party of Lithuania (Lithuanian: Lietuvos socialdemokratų darbo partija, LSDDP) is a social-democratic political party in Lithuania. It is the second newest party in Lithuania, having been founded in 2018.[2]

The party's chairman since 2018 is Gediminas Kirkilas. The party co-lead a government in the unicameral Seimas, Lithuania's Parliament since 2016.[3] LSDDP has 50 sections.[4]

The Party split from Social Democratic Party of Lithuania (LSDP) and was joined by former members of Labour Party.

The party scored badly in the 2019 European Parliament election, scoring only 2,36% of votes and failing to elect any MEP.
