Shivajinagar, Bangalore

Shivaji Nagar is a locality in Bangalore, India. It was named after the 17th century Maratha king Shivaji Maharaj, since he spent his childhood days there.[1] Its popular for the Ramadan food mela, Christmas and St. Mary's Feast. It is an all-time favorite for street food. Shivaji Nagar contains a fairly dense population. It also has the famous Commercial Street, a great shopping hub of Bangalore.

It also has a few famous Sufi shrines located within. The most famous is the shrine of Kambal Posh which is a common tourist destination.
