Shazand County
Shazand County (Persian: شهرستان شازند) is a county located in Markazi Province in Iran. The capital of the county is Shazand. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 118,789, in 31,228 families.[1] The county is subdivided into four districts: the Central District, Qarah Kahriz District, Zalian District, and Sarband District. The county has seven cities: Shazand, Astaneh, Shahbaz, Bazneh, Hendudur, Mahajeran and Tureh.
