Shankar Guru (1987 film)

Sankar Guru is a 1987 Indian Tamil action film, directed by L. Raja and produced by M. Saravanan, M. Balasubramanian and M. S. Guhan. The film was shot simulatenouly in Tamil and Telugu with the Telugu version titled Chinnari Devatha. The film stars Arjun, Seetha, Sasikala and Baby Shalini in lead roles. The film had musical score by Chandra Bose. The film was released on 19 March 1987. The film was commercially successful upon release and was known for action sequences.[1]

Plot

Sankar Guru, an honest man, fights for the rights of poor people. When Rekha falls in love with him, a few gangsters try to attack her to teach Sankar a lesson.
