Serhiy Marchenko

Serhiy Mykhaylovych Marchenko (Ukrainian: Сергій Михайлович Марченко; born 24 January 1981[1]) is a Ukrainian economist and politician.[2] On 30 March 2020, he was appointed as the Minister of Finance of Ukraine.[3]

Biography

He received his higher education from the State Tax Service Academy (2002). Candidate of Economic Sciences (2009).[4]

Marchenko worked in the Ministry of Finance, the State Tax Administration and the Secretariat of Cabinet of Ministers.[1]

Since 2011, he worked at the Coordination Center for the Implementation of Reforms under the President of Ukraine.[1]

From 2016 to 2018, he worked as Deputy Minister of Finance.[5][6]

From 2018 to 2019, Marchenko held the position of Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Administration.[7][8]

Member of the NSDC since 7 April 2020.[9]
