As the organisation Nashi, the camp is described as an attempt by the Kremlin to indoctrinate Russian youth and to make them immune to democracy aspirations such as those that played an important role in the orange revolution.[5][6]

From 17 to 20 June 2011 Russian civic and opposition organisations held near Moscow an alternative forum, Antiseliger .
