Range

It is found in Botswana, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mozambique, Namibia, Somalia, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

Habitat

Its natural habitats are dry savanna, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, subtropical or tropical dry lowland grassland, intermittent freshwater lakes, intermittent freshwater marshes, rural gardens, urban areas, and ponds. It is threatened by habitat loss.
