Sambhaji Patil Nilangekar
Sambhaji Patil Nilangekar (born 20 June 1977) is a Member of 13th Maharashtra Legislative Assembly and represents Nilanga.[1] He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and also the General Secretary[2] of the Maharashtra State Unit of the BJP. He is also Guardian Minister (district in charge minister) of Latur. He is credited for the BJP winning control of Latur Municipal Corporation for the first time in the 2017 elections.

Nilangekar was inducted in the cabinet of Devendra Fadnavis in 2016 and has the portfolio of Labour Skill Development & Entrepreneurship [3][4].
Personal life
Sambhaji Patil was born in Nilanga on 20 June 1977. He is paternal grandson of Shivaji Patil , who was chief minister of Maharashtra. His mother Rupatai Patil was parliamentarian from Latur constituency. His uncle Ashok Patil is councilor in district council. He married to Prerna Patil and having one son and a daughter, namely Rajveer and Vaishnavi. He and the family usually resides in Nilanga town of Latur district.
Political career
He fought Maharashtra legislative assembly elections from constituency which was held by his grandfather for continuous 5 decades. He had strong political background from Indian congress, but he joined BJP due to familial factions with his elder uncle Ashok.
He's first legislator from Nilanga constituency with BJP's ticket. He fought 2004 assembly elections against Shivaji rao and won. But he lost 2009 elections. He became member and then president of Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha (youth wing of BJP) in 2010 to 2013. He became general secretary for state unit in 2013.
He defeated uncle Ashok by majority of 27,830 votes in 2014 elections. He induced in First Devendra Fadanvis ministry with four portfolios of food and civil supply, skill development, customer protection and ex service person welfare from June 2016 to October 2019. He was also guardian minister of Latur district. He hoisted BJP's flag on Latur municipal corporation for first time in its history in 2017 municipal elections.
He won 2019 assembly elections against uncle Ashok.
