Reggie Begelton

Reggie Begelton (born August 31, 1993) is an American football wide receiver for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL). He previously played for the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League (CFL).

College career

He played college football for the Lamar Cardinals. Begelton finished his college career with 227 receptions for 2435 yards and 20 touchdowns.

Professional career

Calgary Stampeders (CFL)

Begelton was originally signed by the Calgary Stampeders on May 17, 2017, but was released at the end of training camp on June 17, 2017. He was re-signed to the team on July 18, 2017.[1] Begelton played in nine games for the Stampeders in 2017, catching 22 passes for 304 yards with one touchdown. Begelton played the first seven games of the season in his second year, before suffering a broken arm which caused him to miss the remainder of the season.[2] In those seven games he caught 25 passes for 488 yards with one touchdown.

In 2019, he was the unanimous selection for Calgary Stampeders Most Outstanding Player.[3]

Green Bay Packers (NFL)

On January 6, 2020, Begelton signed a reserve/future contract with the Green Bay Packers of the NFL.[4]
