Protestantism in Qatar

Protestants comprise less than 1% of the population of Qatar.

The constitution provides for religious liberty.[1] Proselytizing by non-Muslims is prohibited by law.[1] No foreign missionary groups operate openly in the country.[1] Religious groups must register with the Government for legal recognition.[1] Christians are subject to the Sharia.[1] Christian religious literature in English is available in bookstores.[2] In 2013 the Qatar Anglican Church of the Epiphany opened, which also accommodates several Evangelical, Pentecostal and other Protestant congregations.[3]
