President of the Canadian Space Agency

President of the Canadian Space Agency is the title of the head of the Canadian Space Agency.[1] The current President is Sylvain Laporte who has been incumbent since March of 2015.[2] In April 2020, he announced that he was leaving the Canadian Space Agency.[3]

History

On March 1st 1989, the Canadian Space Agency was founded. Larkin Kerwin was appointed as the first President of the Canadian Space Agency[4] until he was succeeded by Roland Doré after 3 years in the role.[5]
