Penguin Football Club was formed in 1890, it is situated on the central north coast of Tasmania, in the small coastal town of Penguin.

Penguin FC plays Australian-rules football in the North West Football League (NWFL), previously known as the "Northern Tasmanian Football League". It previously competed in the North West Football Union (NWFU).
The home ground (Dial Park) is only meters from the sports complex. [2] Its facilities include a home and away changing rooms and clubhouse with a licensed bar.
Penguin has seven teams - Seniors, Reserves and Under 18's in the NWFL and Under 16's, Under 14's, Under 12's and Under 17 Youth Girls in the NWJFL. Their home kit is blue shorts and socks with a Royal blue and light blue striped jersey, hence the nickname of the Two Blues.
