Pedro Flores (boxer)
Pedro Flores (born January 14, 1951 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico) is a former Mexican boxer in the Light Flyweight division. He is the former WBA World Light Flyweight Champion.[1]

Professional career
In November 1973, in Pedro's pro debut he upset the undefeated Ramon Novelo by T.K.O. in the seventh round.[2]
WBA Light Flyweight Championship
On September 26, 1981 Flores won the WBA World Light Flyweight Championship by upsetting an undefeated Yoko Gushiken[3] with a twelfth round T.K.O. in Gushikawa, Okinawa, Japan.[4] This bout was a rematch, as Gushiken had outpointed Flores in a prior world title bout.[5]
