Parambarai

Parambarai (English: Hereditary) is a 1996 Tamil drama film, directed by K. S. Ravikumar, starring Prabhu and Roja in lead roles. The film, produced by Malar Balu and K. Dhandapani, had musical score by Deva, and was released on 15 January 1996. The film did fairly well at the box-office.[1][2][3]

Plot

Paramasivan (Prabhu) and his father (Vijayakumar) are in feud for several years.

In the past, Paramasivan saw his mother murdered by Maragatham (Sindhu) but his father thought that she died because of her illness. His father later married Maragatham. So Paramasivan left his father's house and lived with his grandmother (Manorama).

Back to the present, Paramasivan falls in love with Paruvatham (Roja), sister of a ruthless landlord Kumarasamy (B. H. Tharun Kumar).
