Media center

History

Pacifica High School was established in 2001. It occupies approximately 50 acres (200,000 m2) of agricultural land, and was designed to accommodate up to 2,250 students, even though the student population has reached over 3,000.[3]

The demographic breakdown of the 3,153 students enrolled for 2017-18 was:

Performing arts

Pacifica also has a Performing Arts department which contains theatre, music, and dance classes.[4]

Athletics

The following sports are offered at Pacifica: Soccer, Baseball, Football, Golf, Dance, Swim, Water Polo, Track and Field, Cross Country, Tennis, Basketball, Volleyball, Softball, Wrestling and Cheerleading.[5]

The varsity football team won the school's first state football championship in 2019[6]
