Oneechan ga Kita

Oneechan ga Kita (お姉ちゃんが来た, Onēchan ga Kita, lit. "My Big Sister Arrived") is a Japanese 4-panel comedy manga series by Rikō Anzai, serialized in Takeshobo's seinen manga magazine Manga Life as well as sister magazine Manga Life Momo since July 2011. It has been collected in fourthteen tankōbon volumes as of March 2020. A 12-episode anime television series adaptation by C2C aired between January 8, 2014 and March 26, 2014,[1]and was simulcast by Crunchyroll.[2][3][4][5] A thirteenth OVA episode was included in the first Blu-ray volume released on March 22, 2014.

Tomoya Mizuhara (水原 朋也, Mizuhara Tomoya)

Tomoya is a 14-year-old boy and the story's main protagonist.[6] Although reserved and well mannered, he is annoyed that Ichika regularly tries to enter his room and acts affectionately towards him. He likes Ichika's friends, and even likes Mina Fujisaki, but is oblivious to the latter's disparaging nature.[7][8][9]

Ichika Mizuhara (水原 一香, Mizuhara Ichika)
Voiced by: Juri Nagatsuma

Ichika is the 17-year-old title character stepsister in the series.[6] Outspoken and passionate, she immediately falls in love with Tomoya and is overly protective of him.[6] She sometimes acts like a stalker, and is jealous of any girls that show affection to Tomoya.[9][10]

Mina Fujisaki (藤咲 美奈, Fujisaki Mina)
Voiced by: Ibuki Kido

Tomoya's classmate who acts cute and sweet on the outside, but secretly is a narcissist with a mean streak.[10] She considers Ichika to be a rival when the latter draws all the guys' attention away from her.[10] Tomoya treats her kindly even if she yells at him,[9] and she nearly confesses to Kouki when she receives a White Day gift from him in one of the episodes.[11]

Ruri Hayasaka (早坂 ルリ, Hayasaka Ruri)
Voiced by: Omi Minami

Nicknamed Ruri-Ruri, Ichika's friend shares her opinion that Tomoya is adorable,[12] but does not treat her own brother as nicely.[8]

Marina Mochizuki (望月 マリナ, Mochizuki Marina)
Voiced by: Marina Inoue

Nicknamed "Marinacchi-san", Ichika's well-endowed friend with the blonde hair.[12] She often plays the straight man role in the series. Many of the boys are attracted to her bust.[12]

Mitsuru Hanazono (花園 美鶴, Hanazono Mitsuru)
Voiced by: Yū Kobayashi

Tomoya's classmate whose mind is always in the gutter. Even though he is envious of Tomoya for being surrounded by pretty ladies, he still defends Tomoya fiercely when the later is harassed by Kouki. He prefers Ichika and her girl friends as opposed to those in his class.[8]

Kouki Hayasaka (早坂 孝喜, Hayasaka Kōki)
Voiced by: Misuzu Togashi

Tomoya's uptight classmate who is often admired for his academic ability.[13] He is later revealed to be Ruri's little brother,[13] and although they often fight, he secretly loves her.[14]

Souichirou Fuji (藤 総一郎, Fuji Sōichirō)
Voiced by: Kouji Takahashi

Marina-san's half brother who is quoted as "what you call just a pretty face." He is half Russian with blond hair, and can speak English. He is an otaku who says Ichika resembles an idol character that he likes.[15]

Yūko Mizuhara (水原 夕子, Mizuhara Yūko)
Voiced by: Fumi Morisawa

Tomoya's stepmother.

Masaya Mizuhara (水原 正也, Mizuhara Masaya)
Voiced by: Kenji Hamada

Tomoya's father who remarried with Ichika's mother.
