On January 19, 2018, he made his debut in the 3-2 away match against Almere City. He replaced his childhood friend Ferdi Kadioglu after 84 minutes. In injury time he had to leave the field after a red card from referee Kevin Blom. With that, he is the youngest player ever in the Jupiler League who got a red card at his debut. The card was dismissed after appeal.
