Nonlinear complementarity problem

In applied mathematics, a nonlinear complementarity problem (NCP) with respect to a mapping ƒ : Rn  Rn, denoted by NCPƒ, is to find a vector x  Rn such that

where ƒ(x) is a smooth mapping.
