NoBroker is a Bangalore based real estate search portal that connects property owners & tenants and buyers and sellers directly.[1][2] The company does not charge any brokerage from either parties and works on a freemium model. It offers service packages ranging from INR 999 to 5,999. [3] [4] It is currently operational in 11 cities namely, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Gurgaon, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida. NoBroker was founded in 2014 by IIT and IIM IIM Ahmedabad alumni Amit Kumar Agarwal, Akhil Gupta & Saurabh Garg. They believe that brokers do not add value in the real estate transaction and the amount they charge as brokerage does not justify the service that they provide.[1][2][7] NoBroker is a tech-enabled platform that identifies and bans brokers from infiltrating. It has 8.5 million users across the cities that it is operational in. It saved INR 1154 crore worth of brokerage in 2019. It saves INR 85 crore in brokerage every month.

The company has raised a total funding of $ 214.5 million. It raised $ 20 million in Series A and B from SAIF Partners, KTB Ventures, and Beenext.[4][8] NoBroker had started as a rental platform but it recently forayed into brokerage free buy/sell property as well.[9][10] It raised 51 million in Series C round led by General Atlantic in June 2019 and $ 50 million in Series D led by Tiger Global in October 2019. Anand Chandrasekaran and Vijay Shekhar Sharma are also angel investors in the company.[11]

NoBroker created an algorithm which identifies and bans brokers from the portal.[12] They offer services like creating and registering rental agreements and getting it home delivered.[12] The company is operated on both app and web.[13]

According to some media reports the company’s office in Bangalore was attacked by local brokers.[14]

It offers end-to-end solutions in a consumer's real estate journey including home-cleaning, home-painting, packers & movers, rental agreement, furniture, legal services, home-loans, and has even started NoBroker Pay, the rent payment feature that enables payment of rent via credit card, debit card, UPI wallet or even through Net Banking. NoBroker Pay has an auto debit feature as well.

There has been an increase in the number of services that NoBroker offers its customers, in addition to being able to buy, sell and rent property, you can find PG’s to live in and also homes that one can buy directly from builders. NRI’s can also sell/rent their homes as owners, or buy new /resale homes in India using the NoBroker website. When looking for a home, the Life Score calculator offers ideal suggestions based on current office location, current residence, and amount spent on rent. [15] Features such as Know your Rent and Travel Time Search help consumers make a judicious decision with respect to rent and location.

Packer and Mover services have also been introduced and come with a Move Manager who does the follow up with both parties. A house cleaning service was also introduced and comes in handy while moving homes.[16]

Now, business, shops and so on can use the website to rent, sell or buy commercial space. Commercial space here entails offices, co-working space, shops, showrooms, industrial buildings, sheds and warehouses. [17]

Although the website offers services to Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Gurugram, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida and Pune they have launched NoBroker Pay that can be used pan India. This is a platform wherein a user can pay their monthly rent using any credit card, debit card, UPI wallet or even through Net Banking. It is said to assure owners timely rent and the tenants get benefits such as miles/card points, cashback and so on. [18]

NoBroker releases a Real Estate Report annually that captures consumer trends and performance of the industry as a whole and at micro level. The report looks at Rent Inflation, Location Preferences etc. across these key cities.[19]

NoBroker even helps people Loans options and Legal Services related to properties.
