Navegantes del Magallanes

The Navegantes del Magallanes (Magellan Navigators), commonly known as Magallanes, are a baseball team in the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League. Based in Valencia, Magallanes has won 12 LVBP championships and two (2) Caribbean Series. It was founded on October 26th of 1917,[1] making it the oldest sports club in Venezuela, and one of the most popular baseball teams in the country.[1] It has a historic rivalry with Leones del Caracas, not just in the Venezuelan League but in all of the Caribbean Leagues, often referred as El Juego de los Eternos Rivales (The Eternal Rivals Game).

The Capy is the official mascot of the Navegantes del Magallanes baseball team. The bird wears a navigator costume. He has a girlfriend named Lola, a very charming parrot.
