Nadeem Mohammed

Nadeem Mohammed (Urdu: ندیم محمد; born 5 September 1968) is a former English cricketer. Mohammed was a right-handed batsman who played bowled right-arm medium pace. He was born at Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.

Mohammed made his debut for Cambridgeshire in the 1992 Minor Counties Championship, making his debut in that competition against Staffordshire. From 1992 to 2000, he represented the county in 17 Minor Counties matches.[1] He also represented the county in 15 MCCA Knockout Trophy matches, with his final match for Cambridgeshire in that competition coming against the Leicestershire Cricket Board.[2]

Mohammed also represented Cambridgeshire in List-A cricket, making his debut in that format of the game in the 1994 NatWest Trophy against Hampshire. He represented Cambridgeshire in 5 List-A matches from 1994 to 2001, with his last match for the county coming against the Derbyshire Cricket Board.[3]

In addition, he also represented the Middlesex Cricket Board in a single List-A match against Cumberland in the 1999 NatWest Trophy. In his 6 List-A matches, he scored 121 runs at a batting average of 24.20, with a single half century high score of 54*. With the ball he took 2 wickets at a bowling average of 46.50, with best figures of 1/17.

Family

His twin brother Saleem also represented Cambridgeshire.
