Plot

A young wanna-be magician (and slave girl) Marek dreams of escaping her drab life and taking on exciting adventures, while being taught by sorcerer Gojun Pye. When she meets the help-seeking priestess Teela in Hammerhead's tavern, she offers her assistance, running away from her owner while beginning to use her magic abilities and using a gizmo to help her with her injured leg, and assembles a motley troupe, consisting of herself and Teela, Thane who is a former soldier/warrior and rescued Marek from an harassing Peregus Malister, and Dagen who is a half-elf, a thief and womanizer. Together, they go in search of Teela's sister - who is in possession of a mysterious stone that was taken from a temple of Teela's people, and that it is to be delivered in Sung Hill -, who was kidnapped by a wild ogre surrounded by a few orcs who want the stone for their necromancer master.[3][4]

Kevin Sorbo, who plays one of the roles in the film, said about the project: "Mythica" a movie like "The Lord of the Rings", where I play someone like Gandalf...[5]

The plot runs similar to an "actual play" of a role-playing game (RPG), akin to Dragon Age: A slave girl with magical talent dreams of freedom and adventure. She is encouraged by her mentor, an old Sorcerer and runs off to get a quest. She forms a party of adventurers a rogue, cleric, and fighter. They journey forward in hopes of finding clues to their purpose, forge new bonds and attempt to save the world.
