Murphy Hotel (Jackson, Tennessee)

The Murphy Hotel, also known as the Neely House, is a historic hotel in Jackson, Tennessee, U.S.. It was built in 1911 by hotelier Franklin B. Neely.[2] Neely built it across the road from the newly built Nashville, Chattanooga & St. Louis Passenger Depot.[2] It remained in the Neely family until 1946, when it was purchased by Robert J. Murphy, a farmer.[2] It was designed in the Neoclassical architectural style.[2] It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since February 11, 1993.[1]
