Mujahid Alam

Mujahid Alam (born 27 December 1969) is an Indian politician.[1][2][3] He is the member of Bihar Legislative Assembly since May 2014 representing Kochadhaman Vidhan Sabha constituency.[4][5]

Early life and education

Alam born in village Kairi Birpur in Kishanganj, Bihar. He has completed his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Patna College in 1990.[6][7]

Personal life

His father name is Jamilur Rahman. Mujahid Alam married with Gulchaman Roshan Ara. He has three daughters.[8]

Political career

He joined politics in the year 2010.[1] He was elected as a member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly in May 2014 Kochadhaman assembly by-election as JD(U) candidate.[9] And again retained his seat in 2015 Bihar Vidhan Sabha election by defeating Akhtarul Iman of AIMIM.[10]
