Mostafa Khamenei

Seyyed Mostafa Hosseini Khamenei (Persian: سید مصطفی حسینی خامنه‌ای‎) is an Iranian Twelver Shia cleric[1][2][3] and the oldest son of Iran's supreme leader, Ali Khamenei.[4][5][6]

This Iranian cleric,[7] who is also known as "Hujjatul-Islam/Ayatollah Seyyed Mostafa Khamenei", is the son-in-law of Azizollah Khoshvaght (عزیزالله خوشوقت).[8][9][10] He is also the eldest brother of: Mojtaba, Mohsen (Mas'ud) and Meitham Khamenei.[11]

Mostafa Khamenei, who participated in the Iran–Iraq War,[12][13][14] is a resident of Qom. According to Ahmad Marvi, who is the assistant of seminary communications in Office of the Supreme Leader of Iran:

Seyyed Mostafa Khamenei is teaching in seminary sciences/lessons (Makasib and Kefayah) in Qom. Neither he nor his brothers have a governmental/non-governmental/formal positions; he also doesn't have responsibility in the office of the Supreme Leader, and solely has co-operation in "work publication" segments of the mentioned office. Moreover, his father has prohibited his sons from accepting governmental positions.[15]
