Milton of Leys

Milton of Leys (Gaelic: Baile Muilinn an Leigheis[1]) is a suburb on the southern outskirts of Inverness in the Highland council area of Scotland. Milton of Leys lies on high ground overlooking the Moray Firth, 3 miles (5 km) southeast of the city centre, to the west of the A9 road. It has developed largely since the 1990s as a residential settlement. Construction of a primary school in Milton of Leys began in June 2010, with a scheduled opening date of August 2011.[2] Previously, pupils attended Inshes Primary School.
