Miechów County

Miechów County (Polish: powiat miechowski) is a unit of territorial administration and local government (powiat) in Lesser Poland Voivodeship, southern Poland. It came into being on January 1, 1999, as a result of the Polish local government reforms passed in 1998. Its administrative seat and only town is Miechów, which lies 34 kilometres (21 mi) north of the regional capital Kraków.

Miechów County is bordered by Jędrzejów County to the north, Pińczów County and Kazimierza County to the east, Proszowice County to the south-east, Kraków County to the south, and Olkusz County and Zawiercie County to the west.
