Michael James (cricketer, born 1987)

Michael Insley James (born 9 March 1987) is an English cricketer who played first-class cricket in 2008.

Michael James was educated at De Ferrers High School in Burton upon Trent, and Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge.[1] A tall right-arm opening bowler, he was a regular member of the Cambridge University team in minor matches from 2006 to 2008, but played only one first-class match, the University Match in 2008.[2] He played for the Rolleston team in the Derbyshire County Cricket League from 2003 to 2013.[3]

He was admitted as a solicitor in March 2012, and works in the London office of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton on mergers and acquisitions. He has also worked in the firm's New York office.[4]
