Mateu Morey

Mateu Morey (born 2 March 2000) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a defender for Borussia Dortmund. Morey has made four appearances to date and is 20 years old.[4][5][6][7] He was signed in 2019.

Career

After winning the U17 Eurocup in 2017 playing for Spain, he gained the attention from the Barcelona team and played there on the B team for a while before getting an injury. After the result of a knee injury,[8] he got attention from clubs such as Bayern, Juventus and Manchester United began to follow him closely, but in the end it was Borussia Dortmund that got him in 2019. When he signed for German outfit Dortmund, he was reunited with Spanish teammate Paco Alcacer. Since joining Dortmund he has made only one appearances[9] as a result of an injury after a game against St. Gallen.[10][11]
