Marlon Maxey

Marlon Lee Maxey (born February 19, 1969) is a retired American professional basketball player who was selected 28th overall by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the 1992 NBA Draft.

College career

A 6'8" (2.03 m) and 250 lb (113 kg) forward born in Chicago, Illinois, Maxey played college basketball for the University of Minnesota and then for the University of Texas at El Paso. He participated in the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament in 1992, where he was named unanimous tourney MVP.

Professional career

In an NBA career that lasted two seasons, both of them spent with the Timberwolves, he played in a total 98 games, and averaged 4.9 points and 3.7 rebounds per game.
