Maanvi Gagroo

Maanvi Gagroo is an Indian film actress who has also worked in various web series. She began her career with the Disney Channel's television show Dhoom Machaao Dhoom[2][3] in 2007. She is known for her work in web series like TVF Pitchers, TVF Tripling, Made in Heaven[4] and Four More Shots Please!. In 2019, she portrayed the character of 'Apsara',[5][6] a plus size woman in a comedy movie Ujda Chaman opposite Sunny Singh, for which she wore a fat suit.[7][8] She has worked with Ayushmann Khurrana in Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan.[8] The film deals with the subject of same-sex love and Maanvi played the role of a 'quirky bride'.[4] She will be next seen in second season of Four More Shots Please!' which premieres on 17th April.[9][4][10]

Early life

Maanvi was born to Surender and Urmi Gagroo in New Delhi on 5th September.[1][11] Maanvi studied the Indian dance form Kathak until she was 12.[3] In 2011, she was also part of an ad campaign along with Abhishek Bachchan for Idea. She completed her schooling from The Mother's International School, New Delhi and has a degree in psychology from Gargi College.[1]
