List of best-selling albums in Chile

This is a list of best-selling Chilean albums. The best-selling album in Chile is En estos días (In those days) by Illapu with sales of 175,000 copies. It was the highest selling album of Chilean artist, but the highest certified album by a Chilean singer is Mexico Lindo y Querido by María José Quintanilla with eight times platinum and sales of 160,000 copies. The artists with the most entries are the Mexican singer Marco Antonio Solís, the American singer Michael Jackson, and the Chilean band Los Prisioneros with three. Contigo pop y cebolla by Chilean group Los Vásquez is the best selling album released in the 21st century in physical format.

Until the early 2000s, Gold and Platinum awards in Chile were awarded for 15,000 and 25,000 copies sold, respectively. In 2003, the sales requirements were lowered to 10,000 and 20,000 copies. They were lowered further to 7,500 and 15,000 and finally to 5,000 and 10,000 in 2009.[1][2]
