List of awards and nominations received by Björk

Björk is a singer-songwriter from Reykjavík, Iceland. Her debut album, Björk, considered juvenilia, was released in 1977 by the Fálkinn record label. Note
  1. Certain award groups do not simply award one winner. They recognize several different recipients, have runners-up and have third place. Since this is a specific recognition and is different from losing an award, runner-up mentions are considered wins in this award tally. For simplification and to avoid errors, each award in this list has been presumed to have had a prior nomination.

Björk has received five awards from the BRIT Awards, from eleven nominations, and four from the MTV Video Music Awards, from twelve nominations. Björk has also received 15 nominations from the Grammy Awards but has not received an award, becoming the female artist with the most nominations without a win. The film industry has also recognized Björk by nominating the 2000 song, "I've Seen It All", for Best Original Song in a Motion Picture at the Academy Awards. In 2010, she has received the prestigious Polar Music Prize by the Royal Swedish Academy of Music, an award considered the "Nobel Prize of Music" in Sweden.[4][5] Overall, Björk has received more than 130 awards from more than 250 nominations.
