 Belarus Белыя Крылы The White Wings In August 2016, the Football Association of Belarus announced that the team's nickname would be the "White Wings". The name was influenced by the book The Land Beneath White Wings (1977) by famous Belarusian writer Uladzimir Karatkevich. [4]

 Bosnia and Herzegovina Zmajevi The Dragons A popular nickname of all Bosnian sports teams and or sportsman which was popularized by football TV commentator Marijan Mijailović during Belgium vs. Bosnia (2-4) 2010 World Cup qualification game on 28 March 2009. Also in the historical context, it is considered as an allusion to the famous Bosnian general Husein Gradaščević, who fought for Bosnian independence, and who was known as the "Dragon of Bosnia". [4]
Zlatni Ljiljani The Golden Lilies In both local and foreign media, they are sometimes referred to as the Golden Lilies, which was an original nickname given to all the country's teams and sportsmen or Women by fans after independence in reference to official state insignia at the time (flag and coat of arms).
