History
Lakeview Academy opened in 1970 as a segregation academy in response to the court ordered desegregation of public schools.[1][2] The school's enrollment fell in the 1970s as parents became less concerned with avoiding racially integrated public schools.[1]
Arts
Lakeville Academy won the Georgia High School Association one-act play state title every year from 2013 to 2017.[3]
