Lake Dâmbovița

Dâmbovița Lake ("Lacul Dâmbovița") is a lake situated on Dâmboviţa river in Bucharest and Chiajna, west of Morii Lake and bordering Morii Lake.[1] It has an area of 55 ha.[1] The lake is 3 km from the center of Bucharest (University Square) and is located between: Morii Lake to the East, Giulești district at North, Chiajna and Rosu Forest at South.

A project underground highway, a tunnel which will link Morii Lake and Dambovita Lake (also Chiajna) to Civic Center (Unirii Square) and A1 freeway[2]
