"Labelled With Love" was the third single released from Squeeze's fourth album, East Side Story. It was the last Squeeze single to reach the Top 10 in the UK Singles Chart, peaking at number 4 in 1981.[2]

Difford and Tilbrook later used the title for a short-lived 1983 stage musical adapted from their songs.[3]

Alternative rock in style,[1] Bryan Wawzenek of Diffuser proclaimed "Labelled with Love" to adorn both musical and lyrical "country hallmarks", with themes pertaining to "drinking and hearbreak" and instrumentation of "moseying beat and Nashville piano".[1]
