Kuzmir (Hasidic dynasty)

Kuzmir is a Hasidic dynasty founded by Rebbe Yechezkel Taub (1772–1856), a disciple of Yaakov Yitzchak (the Seer of Lublin). Kuzmir is the Yiddish name of Kazimierz Dolny, a town in present-day Poland.[1]

The present Kuzmir Rebbe is Rabbi Pinchas Moshe Taub,[2] the brother of the present Modzitzer Rebbe, resurrecting the title of Kuzmir Rebbe as the Modzitzer Rebbe is a scion of the Kuzmir dynasty.
