Kaushik Hossain Taposh

Kaushik Hossain Taposh is a Bangladeshi music composer and singer. He won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Music Composer for the film Purno Doirgho Prem Kahini (2013).[2]

He is serving as the managing director and CEO of the television channel Gaan Bangla.[3]

Background

At the age of eight, Taposh released his first music album, Pakihder Pathshala (Birds' School), at Ekushey Book Fair.[4] He studied at Bangladesh Institute of Broadcasting art (BIBA).[4] He took singing course at Shishu Academy and folk music at Chhayanaut.[4]

Career

In 2015, Taposh worked with Indian music director Salim Merchant.[5]

Taposh formed three companies, Zero Technologies, The Fuel Station label and TM Production.[1]

Personal life

Taposh is married to Farzana Munny, who is a beautician and a fashion designer.[4][7] Together they have three children.[8]
