Karakoçan

Karakoçan (Ottoman Turkish: تپه Hill, Kurdish: Dep,[3] Armenian: Oxi) is a town and district of Elazığ Province in the Eastern Anatolia region of Turkey. The mayor is Ayhan Akbaba (AKP). The population is 13,279.
