Kapil Krishna Thakur

Kapil Krishna Thakur was an Indian politician and a member of parliament to the 16th Lok Sabha from Bangaon (Lok Sabha constituency), West Bengal. He hailed from Thakurnagar.

He won the 2014 Indian general election being an All India Trinamool Congress candidate.[1] He was a graduate of the University of Calcutta.[2]

He was the eldest son of Matua Boro Maa Binapani Devi and the sanghadhipati of Matua Mahasangha. Majulkrishna Thakur is his younger brother.[3]

He died at Kolkata on 13 October 2014, after being ill for sometime.[3]
