Kano State Polytechnic

Kano State Polytechnic is a Nigerian tertiary institution located in Kano,[1] North-Western Nigeria. Established in 1975, the school has five units namely: School of Technology (SOT) situated at Matan Fada Road, Kano; School of Management Studies (SMS) located along Yahaya Gusau Road, Kano; School of Environmental Studies (SES), Gwarzo; School of Rural Technology and Entrepreneurship Development, Rano (SORTED Rano); and School of General Studies (SGS) located along Sheikh Jaafar Mahmoud Adam Road. The Central Administration is the heart of the school where administrative issues of the school are carried out and it is located along Bayero University, Kano (BUK) Road.[2]


On 20 July, 2020, Kano State Polytechnic presented two automatic handwashing machines constructed by its staff and students to the Kano State Government.[3]
