Kanishka Raffel

Kanishka Raffel is an Australian Anglican cleric. He has been the dean of St Andrew's Cathedral, Sydney, since 2016.

Raffel was born in London to Sri Lankan parents. He converted to Christianity from Buddhism in his twenties.[1] He studied at the University of Sydney and Moore College.[2]

Prior to his appointment as dean, Raffel served as senior minister at St Matthew's, Shenton Park, in Perth from 1999 to 2016.[1]
