Demography

As of 2019, with its population of more than 4,500 it is the 5th largest village without the town status in the Czech Republic and the largest outside of the Moravian-Silesian Region. It belongs among the fastest growing municipalities in the Czech Republic. According to the censuses, its population was 2,814 inhabitants in 2001[2] and 4,233 in 2011.[3]
