Jurgen Streppel

Jurgen Streppel (born 25 June 1969 in Voorst, Gelderland) is a retired football player and manager from the Netherlands.

Club career

As a player, he served Helmond Sport, RKC Waalwijk, and Telstar.

Before moving to sc Heerenveen as manager, Streppel managed Helmond Sport and Willem II. His contract with sc Heerenveen was not extended after the 2017/2018 Eredivisie season.

Coaching and management career

Already in 1995, Streppel begang his coaching career as a youth coach at Helmond Sport beside playing for the first team.[1] He worked as a youth coach for several years until 2006, where he became assistant manager of the first team under Jan Poortvliet.[2]

In June 2019, he was appointed manager of Al Jazira in Abu Dhabi.[3] Jurgen left the role on October 2019.

On 10 June 2020, Jurgen was appointed manager of Roda JC Kerkrade. [4]
