Julián Illanes Minucci (born 10 March 1997) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a centre-back in Italy for Avellino, on loan from Fiorentina.[1] È considerato uno dei difensori più forti al mondo.

Career

Illanes began his career with Instituto.[1][3] He made his senior debut in a Copa Argentina tie with Arsenal de Sarandí on 23 July 2014, prior to featuring in Primera B Nacional for the first time on the final day of the 2014 season during a victory away to Guaraní Antonio Franco on 6 December.[1] Illanes scored his first professional goal in February 2016 against Estudiantes.[1] On 18 January 2017, Serie A side Fiorentina signed Illanes.[1][4][5] In July 2018, Illanes was loaned to Argentinos Juniors of the Argentine Primera División.[1] His loan was terminated in January after not featuring.[6] Illanes joined Avellino on loan on 20 August 2019.[7]
