Jorge Reyes (Venezuelan actor)

Jorge Luis Reyes Graterol (born August 28, 1971 in Caracas) is a Venezuelan actor and model best known for his work in Venezuelan telenovelas.

Biography

He is the elder brother of the actress Claudia Reyes.[1][2] Jorge began his artistic career as a model before going into acting where he played secondary roles. He obtained his first main role in 1997 in the telenovela Destino de mujer alongside Sonya Smith.[3] Since, he has obtained leading roles in telenovelas filmed in the United States such as La Revancha in 2000 and Valeria in 2009, Todos quieren con Marilyn filmed in Colombia in 2004 and in his native Venezuela.[4]

In 2007, he made his film debut in the film Miranda Regresa where he portrayed the Venezuelan revolutionary Francisco de Miranda.[5]

Personal life

Jorge began dating actress Roxana Díaz while filming the telenovela Cuando Hay Pasion in 1997. In 2001, he began a romance with Gaby Espino while on the set of the telenovela Guerra de mujeres in which they both had starring roles.[6]

In 2007, Jorge married Carolina Delgado[7] with whom he had a daughter named Camila Elizabeth Reyes.[8] However, the couple later broke up.[9]

In 2015, Jorge married Colombian actress Alejandra Sandoval at Margarita Island. Later that same year, the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Miranda.[10][11]
